RHS LACROSSE WINTER LACROSSE PROGRAM
We are offering a Winter Lacrosse Program as we have done in the past.
The program details are below :
SKILLS N' DRILLS SESSIONS - We have 3, 2 hour sessions planned for December at Newtown Youth Academy. Sessions will take place from 3-5pm on 12/3, 12/10 and 12/17. We focus on individual skills such as shooting, individual defense, face off and dodging. The goal is to give our players the opportunity to strengthen their skill base in preparation for Spring.
FRESHMAN / SOPHOMORE INDOOR LEAGUE - We Plan to enter 2 Teams in the Newtown JV indoor league. Games start on 1/7 and go for 11 weeks total. The games will take place between 6-9pm on Saturdays. Teams in the league include Newtown (2 teams) Barlow, Brookfield, New Fairfield and Ridgefield(2 teams)
VARSITY TRUMBULL INDOOR LEAGUE - This is a full field indoor league that takes place at the Trumbull Sports Zone. Games are played on Saturdays between 7am and 8pm. This is for our Juniors and Seniors and any players who have played on the Varsity. The season starts on 1/7 and goes for 11 weeks.
Cost per Player - $200 Sign ups for Winter Fresh/Soph teams will be on first come, first serve basis. We are trying to hold the the roster size to 17 per team and they fill up fast.
Deadline for sign ups is October 29th.

RHS FALL LACROSSE

The program will run from mid September to mid November and will include two practices a week and participation in 4 tournaments for each team.
Practices - Wednesday's 8-10pm (no practice on 10/12) and on Sundays from 9-11am ( except for 10/2 it will be 8-10am). Both will be at Tiger Hollow.
FINAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:

Newtown - Oct 9th We will be placing 4 teams in this one. 2 JV & 2 Varsity

Hamonasset Beach Blast - Oct 29th & 30th JV playing on Oct 29th and Var 1 & 2 playing on the 30th .

Blue & Gold JV Jamboree - Nov 5th @ Hofstra University. We have placed 2 JV teams in this tournament.

Mid Fall Classic - Nov 6th @ UMASS. Var 1 and Var 2 Teams will be playing in this one.

Yale Bulldog Classic - Nov 19th @ YaleUniversity. JV team only

MVP Tournament - Nov 19th @ Ryder College NJ. Var 1 & 2 Teams.

Sticks For Soldiers - Saturday Nov 26th @ Fairfield Ludlowe. This is a charity event.
